The Wessex Transport Society provide transport enthusiasts in the Bournemouth area with an excellent annual program of tours, visits and family days-out, as well as fascinating and entertaining winter and evening meetings, slide and film shows.

David Lang has a couple of photos of Bournemouth trolley bus No. 69 (LJ 7702) after it had been converted by Southend Corporation into a mobile toilet! [ Picture 1  Picture 2 ].
He also has a lot of other information on Southend Corporation Transport, Eastern National and pictures of other buses from the 1960's.

If you have an interest in bus tickets, go along to The Transport Ticket Society web site. They also have details of the booklets they produce containing information on the tickets of Hants & Dorset and Wilts & Dorset.

David Bradley has obviously been working hard on trolleybus.net you will find a wonderful collection of images, mainly of trolleybuses in the Croydon area taken over four decades.

Visit the Llandudno & Colwyn Bay Tramway Society, who are restoring the ex-Bournemouth tram, number 126 to represent one of her sisters that ran at Llandudno.

Tony Newman has a photo of a trolley 285 (YLJ 285) on the famous turntable at Christchurch.

Take a pleasant ride down and along the winding lanes of nostalgic memory, visit the Country Bus site.
