The route originally ran from a bus stop
just around the corner from the Ashley Road, in Albert Road Upper
Parkstone. The service then ran down Albert Road, then turning left and
running along Rossmore Road to the junction of Brixey Road where the bus
terminated.
Later in 1949 the route was extended from Rossmore Road along to the
newly built Trinidad Estate.
Before privatisation, this was the only independently
operated bus service in the Poole area, all the other routes being run
by Hants & Dorset.
